For musket, same case as privy, but more focus on the critical stat. For privy, with their own zeal and critical buffs (crit gets a mention since critical bypasses accuracy/dodge), they'll practically never miss, providing them with the strongest defense possible - even more so if the privy themselves field max over. For witchdoctor, they're an invaluable asset in pvp, since they keep one of your toughest matchups at bay. While not as useful against swashbucklers given how they have black fog, or against enemy privateers due to zeal (which boosts their team's accuracy and dodge by 50% for 3 rounds), they are incredibly potent for their field of specialty and in pve (since most enemies in pve tend to be melee). They are the hard-counter to buccaneer opponents and horde tactics. That is at essence what the musketeer is.
Imagine melee enemies almost never being able to approach you, and even when they do they get manually booped back out to autoboop range.
